The release of the Nokia N97, the newest Nokia Smartphone, may have you wondering what’s changed since the n96 was released in September 2008. So we have summarized what’s different between the two phones for you.
The Size
The N97 is 1.5cm longer than its predecessor and a couple of millimeters thicker. This has added 25 grams of weight to the new model.
The Slider
The new N97 has moved on and now has a tilting slider to access the QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard has three rows of keys and two characters are generally assigned to each key and the keys are generously sized.
Display Screen
The added dimensions have gone into the screen which has moved from 2. 8 inches to a more viewable 3. 5 inches. The screen resolution has also increased to 640 x 320 pixels. Both phones boast a 16 million color screen.
